Salonized provides Treatwell marketplace integration (35 percent commission plus 2 percent transaction), gift cards and online deposits via iDEAL in the Basic plan, intake forms per service and marketing mails in the Pro plan, own card terminal Salonized Pay from €199 excl. VAT with 1 percent fee, and multi-location support. CelerBook does not offer these. If Treatwell or gift cards are essential to your salon, Salonized fits better.
Does Salonized offer a free trial?
Yes, Salonized offers 14 days free with Pro features per their pricing page, no credit card required. After 14 days the monthly subscription starts from €21 excl. VAT. CelerBook gives the first 5 appointments per month free, ongoing with no time limit. A just-launched salon pays nothing in its first weeks.
Does CelerBook offer online deposits like Salonized Basic?
No. CelerBook does not offer online deposits at booking time. Clients pay in store after the treatment. Salonized Basic (€39 excl. VAT per month) ships Online payments for iDEAL or card deposits. For salons that don't require online deposits, this Salonized feature adds no value; for salons preventing no-shows with deposits, Salonized fits better on this point.
Can I migrate my Salonized data to CelerBook?
Not automatically right now. CelerBook has no CSV import for clients. Request a CSV export from Salonized via Settings - Export and enter clients manually via Clients - New client. Up to 200 clients you handle that in about an hour. For larger salons, email info@celerbook.com for hands-on migration help.
Does Salonized have a long contract period?
No, Salonized is cancellable monthly per their pricing page. CelerBook works without a contract: pay-as-you-go. Stop scheduling new appointments and your invoice automatically returns to zero. No cancellation period, no exit fee.
How does the Treatwell integration of Salonized work?
Salonized offers a Treatwell integration for 35 percent commission on new bookings plus 2 percent transaction fees on prepaid online bookings. CelerBook has no Treatwell integration. If you actively generate more than 30 percent of revenue via Treatwell, that is a direct reason to choose Salonized.
Do both work with SMS reminders?
Yes. CelerBook charges €0.11 excl. VAT per SMS via Twilio, uncapped. Salonized works with SMS credits: €0.15 excl. VAT per credit for 50 to 999 credits, €0.13 for 1000 to 2499, and €0.11 for 2500 to 9999 credits. Email confirmation and reminders ship in both systems as standard, so without SMS you have zero extra cost.
Does CelerBook support multiple locations like Salonized?
Not as a working feature today. CelerBook supports one location per business; the calendar and booking flow do not scope per location. Salonized charges €16 excl. VAT (Appointments) up to €51.50 excl. VAT (Pro) per extra location and delivers a working multi-location experience. If you need more than one branch with its own calendar and staff per location, Salonized fits better today.
