With Treatwell you get access to 150,000+ European salons in marketplace search results, but your profile remains a Treatwell URL. With CelerBook you keep control of your own page and the direct client relationship.

Treatwell is first and foremost a European consumer marketplace with 150,000+ connected salons per their product page. For salons in city centres or tourist areas with real Treatwell search traffic, this can be a strong new-client channel. CelerBook has no marketplace; clients find you via Google, Instagram or a direct link. If the Treatwell marketplace channel actively delivers more than 20 percent of new clients, Treatwell fits better, provided you can absorb the 35 percent commission on those first bookings.
Gift cards, Tap to Pay and online deposits are essential
Treatwell ships gift cards as standard, Treatwell Pay for in-person payments, Tap to Pay via Treatwell Connect app and online deposits (2 percent transaction fee per treatwell.nl). CelerBook does not offer these. If your salon runs daily on deposits for no-show prevention or Tap to Pay on phone, Treatwell fits better.
You have multiple locations with central management

How easy is it to switch from Treatwell to CelerBook without losing client data or disrupting my business?
There is no automatic import, CelerBook has no CSV import for clients. You do not lose your client list and your business does not go down. Request an export via Treatwell support, expect a manual support request, then enter the clients yourself via Clients - New client. A list of up to a few hundred clients you can do yourself, for larger lists email info@celerbook.com. Treatwell keeps running in the meantime: you only cancel (1 month cancellation notice per secondary sources) once CelerBook is set up, so you do not start with an empty calendar.
Does Treatwell have a long contract period?
Per secondary sources Treatwell has a 1 month cancellation notice. Verify before signing. CelerBook works without a contract and without cancellation notice: pay-as-you-go. Stop scheduling new appointments and your invoice automatically returns to zero.
Do I lose my Treatwell marketplace reach if I switch to CelerBook?
Yes, if you currently acquire clients through the Treatwell marketplace, you lose that channel on cancellation. CelerBook has no marketplace. For salons whose new-client flow runs on Google, Instagram and word of mouth, that is no loss. For salons where Treatwell delivers more than 20 percent of new clients, this counts as a direct switching cost. At the same time the 35 percent commission Treatwell takes per marketplace booking also disappears.
Do both work with SMS reminders?
Yes. CelerBook charges €0.11 excl. VAT via Twilio per appointment with SMS on, uncapped. Treatwell has unlimited SMS reminders per treatwell.co.uk in the Pro rate; a separate SMS price is not listed. Confirmation emails ship in both systems as standard. The difference is the reminder: ours runs over SMS, not over email.
Does Treatwell have online payments that CelerBook doesn't?
